On the basis of their origin, fillers may be autologous (mostly their own adipose tissue), biological and synthetic.

Upon injecting, “Aquamid” becomes surrounded by thin stratum of connective tissue and pseudo-epithelial stratum making it be stabile and follow each mimicking movement during expressing of emotions. During the operation, patients are mostly covered by local anaesthesia, those too sensitive are operated under so-called light anaesthesia and are able to leave the clinic one hour after their being awaken. The swelling disappears in 3-4 days, there is no pain.
Often indication of “Aquamid” is embellishment of scars and removal of many other deformations of soft tissues. We had no complications upon injection of described fillers. It is important to note that, in case of correctly selected filler for certain patient, the method provides extremely good results with very fast recover of the patient.
